Star-studded line-up for F1 Rocks™ in Bahrain

David Guetta Taio Cruz Sugababes
Music lovers are in for a treat at next month’s Bahrain Grand Prix after organisers confirmed the line-up for the F1 Rocks™ in Bahrain concert, to be held on Saturday March 12. Mega producer and platinum selling artist David Guetta will be headlining, joined by master of dance Taio Cruz and acclaimed girl band Sugababes. One more artist is to be announced shortly.

Guetta is one of the world’s most in-demand producers. A multi-platinum selling artist in Europe in his own right, with three chart topping albums, he has also worked with a variety of pop and hip-hop artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lil’ Wayne, Kylie Minogue and Madonna.

Cruz is a British singer-songwriter and producer, writing and releasing a gold album and five hit singles and playing to sold-out audiences during his last tour. Cruz is particularly in demand as a producer for international stars such as Leona Lewis, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Anastacia, Sugababes and JLS. He co-wrote Tinchy Stryder’s hit single ‘Take Me Back’, as well as writing the number-one hit ‘Never Leave You’.

Awarded the title of ‘the most successful female act of the 21st Century’ by the Guinness Book of Records, the award-winning, multi-platinum selling British girl band the Sugababes were formed in 1998. Topping the charts on numerous occasions with catchy tunes such as ‘Push the Button’, ‘Too Lost in You’, ‘Red Dress’ and many more, the band’s current line-up is Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Green.

“The addition of F1 Rocks™ to this year’s Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix programme is tremendous,” commented Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive at the Bahrain International Circuit. “It gives the public twice the reason to be a part of what will surely be a spectacular weekend of top-class racing and entertainment.

“I am certain that the response F1 Rocks™ will receive from our music-loving culture in Bahrain will be fantastic, and I am confident that each act will command a full house at our Grand Prix.”
