Norwood misses Sugababe Jade at bash
EastEnders' Ricky Norwood confessed he was nervous without his Sugababe girlfriend Jade Ewen to support him at the TV Choice bash.
The actor, who was nominated in the Best Soap Newcomer category for his portrayal of Fatboy, said Jade helps him cope with the "craziness" of star-studded ceremonies.
He said: "Jade's at home crossing her fingers for me. It's a shame she couldn't be here because it helps me deal with this craziness."
He went on: "It's nice to have someone to lean on in the madness of seeing Jeremy Kyle and all the Dragons. When I start rambling on and getting a bit excited she calms me down."
Ricky added that the secret to a successful showbiz relationship is not to view it as one.
"If you don't look at it as a showbiz relationship you'll be absolutely fine. Appreciate the person in your relationship and go out with that person for the good of that person and not their star status."
