Everything you need to know for a fantastic time at F1 this weekend...
Amber Lounge
If there’s one place in the UAE that knows how to throw an after-party, it’s Amber Lounge. The official post-race spot for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has seen the likes of F1 driver Jenson Button and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler enjoying post-race cocktails alongside Hollywood celebs and stunning city socialites such as Nicole Scherzinger. And this year is no different, with the venue set to host numerous parties, from the Johnnie Walker event to the Ultimate Grand Prix ‘After’ Party.
INFO: Amber Lounge 12th and 14th November, Hilton Abu Dhabi. For ticket information and reservations, call 055 291 4013 or email: abudhabi@amberlounge.com
Chequered Flag Ball
Headlining the Chequered Flag Ball Beverley Knight has one fantastic performance geared up for the crowd. “They can expect a lively performance. I like to talk to people when I perform. I don’t just stand still in a ball gown (laughs). I’m usually tearing up and down the stage. And when I have fun on stage, I think it’s infectious so the crowd really has a great time.”
INFO: Beverley Knight will perform at The Chequered Flag Ball on November 12 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Abu Dhabi. To book, call 04 445 6842 or
