Heidi Range has taken to Twitter to laugh off rumours that she is set to replace Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls.
The Sugababes singer had been rumoured to be joining Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton on a forthcoming reunion album and tour, following rumours that the band were planning to get back together without Posh.
However both Bunton and Mel C have now denied the rumours on Twitter – and Range has joined in.
‘None of the Spice Girls would ever or could ever be replaced, nonsense in the papers,’ Bunton said, before Range added: ‘Ahh and there was me all getting ready to be Suga Spice, haha x.’
Mel C, meanwhile, added: ‘It seems there has been some Spice related nonsense written today. None of the Spice Girls would ever or could ever be replaced #justsayin x’.

The stories emerged after a source said the band were keen to continue – but did not think they would be viable as a four-piece.
‘The girls are going it alone without Victoria. They are keen to get back together and were trying to work out if they could do it as a four-piece. I think they know this is the last chance for them to get the band going again,’ the insider said.
‘But the Spice Girls as a foursome is not going to get them another record deal or sell out big venues. They need an extra cherry on the cake. And the cherry on the cake would be if they replaced Victoria.’
The band attended the premiere of the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever! last week in the West End, but while Mel B, Mel C, Halliwell and Bunton posed for pictures and sat together, Posh arrived later than the others and sat with husband David Beckham and their three sons during the show.

It looks like there won't be a girl band mash-up happening anytime soon as Sugababes singer Heidi Range has shot down reports she's set to replace Victoria Beckham for a Spice Girl reunion.
Over the weekend a bizarre report in the Daily Mail suggested Heidi would perform in place of Victoria Beckham on a new album and tour. If that doesn't go to plan, apparently it has also been suggested that Mel B, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton will hold a reality show to try and find a replacement for Posh Spice. A source claimed to the paper:
"The girls are going it alone without Victoria. They are keen to get back together and were trying to work out if they could do it as a four-piece. I think they know this is the last chance for them to get the band going again."
"But the Spice Girls as a foursome is not going to get them another record deal or sell out big venues. They need an extra cherry on the cake. And the cherry on the cake would be if they replaced Victoria. "And that leads to the next question: who do they replace her with? At the moment it's all being done in a very cloak-and-dagger way and not through official channels."
Now Heidi and the spice Girls have taken to twitter to laugh off the rumours. "None of the Spice Girls would ever or could ever be replaced, nonsense in the papers!!!" said Emma Bunton before Heidi replied "Ahh and there was me all getting ready to be Suga Spice, haha x".
Mel C also posted a denial saying: "It seems there has been some Spice related nonsense written today. None of the Spice Girls would ever or could ever be replaced #justsayin x"
Will you miss Victoria if the Spice Girls reform?
