Jade Ewen has denied speculation that she was planning to quit Sugababes today.
September 21 marks the second anniversary of her appointment in the trio, replacing last remaining founder member Keisha Buchanan in the line-up.
Speculation heated up on Twitter yesterday when the band's new single 'Freedom' disappeared from the iTunes store. Released on Sunday, the track had been available to pre-order since last month.
Rumours also began circulating that a press conference was due to take place today, at which it was thought Jade would announce her depature.
A representative for the band told Entertainmentwise last night: "No press conference tomorrow, so don't believe the whispers."
Jade took to Twitter this morning to dispell the rumours herself. "Wow! So who started this rumour guys?? The only place this Sugababe is going is to the studio with the girls to work on our new album!"
So everybody can relax...
