Digital agency Mosquito, formed last year after the closure of SASS, has been brought in to help launch the latest single from The Sugababes, alongside Nokia’s special edition pink N8 mobile phone.
The team were appointed to the task by London’s Crown Music Management, creating a micro-site for the song ‘Freedom’, an online competition and raising awareness of a tie-in between the band and Nokia.

Mosquito has also designed the new identity for the all-girl band, which is currently on the comeback trail.
The win marks the culmination of the agency’s first year in business - 12 months that have also seen the team win projects from Zoflora, the Trader Media Group (for the Auto Trader iPhone app) and the BBC.
Director Jo Sass said that the first year had been “fantastic” with the agency “learning how to be relevant in the current climate.”
She added: “We have taken advantage of the expanding market for smart phone apps and alongside website design and build this has been a fast growing side of the business this year”.
