New member of the Sugababes: Amelle Berrabah introduces her pet dog Herbie to the world by posting adorable picture online

Paris Hilton, Geri Halliwell and Jessica Biel all have one.

And now Amelle Berrabah has joined the A-list elite by getting a pet pooch.

The Sugababes singer posed with her adorable dog, which appeared to be a long-haired chihuahua, and posted the image on Twitter to her thousands of followers.

The 27-year-old gushed: 'This is my new dog! he's called Herbie! I love him!xxx'

In the photograph, the tiny puppy snuggles up on a paw print blanket while his proud owner grins.

Amelle has another reason to celebrate, with the girls releasing their latest video Freedom this week.

The track is their first release since last year, when Wear My Kiss propelled up to No7 on the charts.

While the new single is not released until September 25, the trio have already received the seal of approval from fans after performing it for the first time at this year’s T4 on the Beach.

And Amelle, Heidi Range and Jade Ewen cannot wait to unleash their new material.

They said: 'We’ve enjoyed taking our time in the studio and are excited to be coming back with what we feel is the band’s finest material to date.'

Typically, the girls all look enviably stylish in their new promo shots as they showcase a slightly edgier look with heavy dark make-up and kitsch black costumes.
