She wowed fans when she skated on to the rink on last weekend's Dancing On Ice wearing an entirely unforgiving skintight gold catsuit.
But Heidi Range revealed today she was so terrified about getting into the all-in-one that she dieted over Christmas to ensure there were no unsightly lumps and bumps.
The 28-year-old Sugababes star told Kate Garraway and Dan Lobb on Daybreak this morning that the thought of wearing the catsuit on the ITV talent show was enough to put her off her roast dinner over the festive season.

Heidi has lost a stone since she started training for Dancing On Ice, and showed off her newly svelte figure on Daybreak this morning in a pair of super-tight black leggings and sky-high heels.
Talking about her changing shape, Heidi said: 'I've lost a stone since I started and I'm not complaining, I'm loving it.'
Heidi, who was joined on the sofa by skating partner Andrei Lipanov, also spoke about the Dancing On Ice twist this weekend which will see the celebrity contestants 'duel' against each other.
She explained: 'It's two couples per song and you are competing against someone else so we are competing against Charlene and Matt.
'But I'm really enjoying it. I don't want to go out of it - I love it.
'So if Charlene beats me please keep me in because I love it!'
