Christine Bleakley and co. bust moves for Race for Life
Charitable souls that they are, Christine Bleakley, Heidi Range and Roxanne Pallet have been risking the wind changing and keeping them in that weird triangle forever all for a good cause.
Donning some strangely Hooters-like exercise gear, the ex-TV presenter and WAG Christine, 33, joined ex-Sugababe Heidi and Emmerdale star Roxanne in launching a fundraising by text service of Vodafone’s called JustTextGiving, in association with the summer event Race for Life.
The 5k walk, jog or run will be, er, a walk in the park for former Daybreaker and releaser of workout DVD, Christine Bleakley - The Workout, Christine Bleakley, who is really into her exercise. We’re not sure how Heidi and Roxanne will fare but we’re sure they’ll have no shortage of supporters.
The trio are doing the Race for Life to help raise funds for cancer research. Sugababes’ Heidi is running with her mum, and tweeted to get her followers’ support; 'The code to sponsor me and my mum for Aintree Race for Life is to text HEID83 to 70070. All of the money raised...'
Race for Life is happening in 240 places around the UK on July 1st; usually around 600,000 UK women take part.
SUGABABE Heidi Range was today gearing up for Cancer Research’s Race For Life this weekend.
The singer will be back in her home town to take part in the charity run at Aintree Racecourse on Sunday.
She was joined by former John Moores university student and Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallett and TV host Christine Bleakley ahead of the fundraising race, which will see hundreds of thousands of women taking part across the UK.
The three stars are encouraging runners to sign up to Vodafone’s JustTextGiving service to maximise their fundraising potential.
They want as many people as possible to sign up for a free code from JustTextGiving to help towards the fundraising target of £55m.
Codes can be created online at
