Dear Mutya Keisha and Siobhan, get the fuck on with it
Thu, 11/10/2012 - 12:30 by Tim Chipping
Well this is dragging on a bit now. Given how long it took for
Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan to announce they’d got back together (even though we
told you they had, literally years ago) we’d have expected a new album by now.
But no. According to Keisha we’re still some way off that. FFS.
“You will definitely have music this side of 2013. Maybe not the album but at least some tracks.”
Well that doesn’t sound vague and subject to change at all.
There are only about 50 days left of non-Christmas related music opportunities left. Get a move on!
And in another classic Keisha quote, she promised: “The new music will be so different, it's going to be - dare I say it - quite Sugababes-ish.”
So, “the same” then?
We’ve just been looking through some old interviews we did with the Babes. They are brilliant. Here’s our favourite bit:
Holy Moly: War: what is it good for?
Mutya: “I believe war is a devastation. It kills innocent people. Only if war could be the same way it used to be where they used to fight with long knives, years ago, or canons... literally in a park or across the road from each other. If it was like that I don't think people would die so easily.”
Profound.
