Original Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan have released a single! Have you heard it? Of course not! - Now Magazine

Original Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan have released a single! Have you heard it? Of course not!
They're back! Hoorah! But have you heard the ex-Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan's new single?
Awww. Mutya Buena we have missed you. Now back with her Sugababe bandmates she looks like the cat who got the disco cream!
Sugababes reunited - Keisha B joins Siobhan at her wedding last year!
Back where they belong - former Sugababes stars Mutya Keisha Siobhan doing what they do best! Er, singing, not having cat fights (though they're pretty good at that too!)
The other Sugababes. Sadly they decided not to take on the old skool for a chart battle to end all chart battles. Boooooo!
When original Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan announced they were set to reform again I was so flaming giddy that I almost popped (which, to be honest, would have been rather messy!)
But with a back catalogue of amazing moodfests like Run For Cover, New Year and the almost jaunty Overload, I couldn't wait to find out what the three original members had to offer us this time round.
So, imagine my excitement when Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Doherty finally released their single Flatline. Er, well I would have been if I'd known it was out.
Normally when a huge band mark their return they pull out all the stops and appear on all the big TV shows and appear in mighty mags like Now!
But it turns out that their 'people' had other ideas and decided they should only appear in niche 'arty' mags.
The result? Their song has (at the time of writing) reached No 50 in the charts! Er....not quite the comeback stat they expected, I'm sure.
That said, their 'people' insist that this is a soft launch and that they will pull out all the stops on the next single. If they get to release one.
I love these pop minxes and was hoping for an explosive return by one of the greatest pop trios since, er, the mighty Big Fun (highpitched 90s boyband for those of you out of the loop!).
Sadly, they will have to look back at their chart history and see a big fat No 50! Shame!
Another thing that left me miffed was the fact that the other Sugababes were so lame not to release a corking single to compete with their rivals. How cool would that have been?
With record sales at an all time low and no one caring about who releases what these days, a chart battle is just what we needed. Just like that Oasis vs Blur battle in the 90s!
Oh well, too late! What is the world coming to?
