Wow! Amelle Berrabah really knows how to grab attention! Just take a look at the electric blue, body con dress she wore to a fashion party in London.

Matched with plain black stilettos, Amelle smiled for the waiting paps as she left the bash with Jo Wood.

Amelle's other Sugas, Jade Ewen and Heidi Range were nowhere to be seen on the cold night out in the capital.

Amelle's smile may have something to do with what herself, Heidi and Jade said in a recent interview with digital spy.

The Sugababes bigged themselves up by saying that their new album, Sweet 7 was their best record to date.

“The things we talk about in the lyrics are more grown up, I think (with) every album we've done we've always wanted to go a step up and try to improve. It definitely is the best album that we've done, its that step up.” gushes Heidi.

Ouch, poor Keisha Buchanan...

Ewen: 'Psychic knew I'd join Sugababes'

Ewen: 'Psychic knew I'd join Sugababes'

WENN
Sugababes newcomer Jade Ewen has claimed that a psychic foresaw her involvement with the band one week before she joined.

The singer was recruited for the girl group last year after founding member Keisha Buchanan was ousted from the lineup.

Ewen then immediately flew to Los Angeles, where she joined Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah to film the video for the band's single 'About A Girl'.

Speaking to The Mirror, Ewen commented: "I've never done Tarot cards, but a week before I went to LA my friend and I had a tea leaf reading.

"I don't usually believe all that but the woman read that I was a performer in the spotlight. She said, 'You're going to work hard and get bigger and bigger, then you'll lose something career-wise. You'll be devastated but in the end it will work out'.

"Then, even weirder, she said I was going to make loads of money and meet two girls and we'd be like a family. I keep a diary and it was only when I was in the hotel in LA that I looked back and went, 'My God - this is what the woman was talking about'."

Sugababes' new single 'Wear My Kiss' is out now.

Sugababes are going from girl group to group scenes

Although The Sugababes haven't wormed their way into America's hearts like some other all-girl, Brit pop groups -- such as The Saturdays and Girls Aloud -- we have taken notice of them a few times. But the trio is bound to garner a lot more attention if they keep performing like this.

Over the weekend, Heidi, Amelle and Jade (better known as The Sugababes 4.0 since none of these singers are original members) performed at the Bloomsbury Ballroom as part of London Fashion Week.

Although from the looks of things, they might be destined for a recurring gig at London's next scoliosis convention, since they all appear incapable of standing up. Or maybe a proctology panel.

The past six months, it's fair to say, have been the most turbulent in Sugababes history. When sole founding member Keisha Buchanan was ousted back in September, many predicted the group would crash and burn. Instead, the revised lineup has continued apace and is about to release hotly-anticipated new album Sweet 7. We caught up with Heidi, Jade and Amelle to discuss their new sound, their latest single 'Wear My Kiss' and whether it's really Keisha who's been leaking their tracks online!

Spotted! The Sugababes at Jasper Conran

Spotted! The Sugababes at Jasper Conran

Fashionista.vg managed to catch up up with the band on their way into a show this afternoon…

All three wore Jasper Conran outfits in tribute to the designer, who is both their friend and one of their favourite labels.

Heidi, Jade and Amelle were all excited to see Conran’s Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection. Amelle told us: “I’m wearing Jasper all the way! I think he’s amazing, and I’m really looking forward to seeing him later.”

She said fashion was so important to all the Sugababes because they have to constantly reinvent their style when they perform on stage. She added: “I think any girl loves to dress up anyway so we’re really lucky. My style is quite random – I love to try new things, so one minute I’ll be a bit rocky then the next I’ll be quite glamorous.”

As well as established designers like Jasper, the Sugababes are also fans of newer, up-and-coming labels and collections. Amelle explained she loves to see as many shows as possible to check out the new talent each season – and to get inspiration for future stage outfits.

The girls are busy promoting their album and new single, but hope to have time to see a few more shows later this London Fashion Week.
