'I'm in better shape than ever - despite the bruises': Dynasty star Emma Samms is the latest celebrity gymnast to be eliminated from Tumble

She has been left black-and-blue following rehearsals for this weekend's show.
But it was actress Emma Samms' ego which was left bruised after she was the latest celebrity to be booted off BBC 1 gymnastics show Tumble.
After a mediocre underwater-themed performance, the former Dynasty star was left at the bottom of the pile with just a score of 23.5 out of 40 from judges Nadia Comăneci, Louis Smith, Sebastian Stellar and Craig Heap.

She was a certain for The Vault - the finale decider on which of the contestants will go home.
Former Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah was also up for elimination, scoring just half a point more than Emma with her shaky cowgirl routine on the mat.
While the 30-year-old pop star pulled out a half-turn vault and landed perfectly on the mat, Emma kept things simple by frog leaping over the apparatus.
Head Judge Nadia was keeping a close eye on their performances from the side, and deemed Emma's basic stunt 'not very impressive' - before deciding to keep Amelle in the competition.

After being axed, the actress - who has also starred in The Colbys, Doctors and General Hospital - told presenter Alex Jones: 'It's been absolutely fantastic. I'm in better shape than I've ever been, despite the bruises!'
She is the second celebrity to be eliminated, following Loose Women host Andrea McLean's departure last week.
Emma had shown off her war wounds just days before the third episode of the series on Saturday night, and explained that she was shocked BBC bosses had allowed such a dangerous show to go to air.
She explained: ‘It is quite dangerous, I’m actually shocked the BBC are allowed to do this, when we did the aerial hoop, I was six metres in the air, upside down, hands free, no safety line, no safety net, yes, there are big pads at the bottom, but I’m shocked.

‘I don’t know how they were allowed to do it, I’m glad they were, but I’m surprised, especially in this day and age when you imagine everyone is [concerned with] health and safety.’
The episode proved that the extreme stunts were taking their toll on the remaining contestants.
Former Steps star Ian 'H' Watkins suffered whiplash while trying to pull off an impressive double flip on the trampoline, and had to change his performance at the last minute.
The disappointed star said: 'I've hurt my neck really badly - we are doing the show in three days so that's really set us back.

'I'm so annoyed because I'm going to have to compromise the routine and take out the double back somersault.'
His Beach Boys-style performance, however, pleased the judging panel and he was awarded 29.5 out of 40.
His fellow competitors, boxer Carl Froch, reality star Lucy Mecklenburgh, and former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan, were all on an equal par, garnering the same score for their turns on the trampolines.

Former Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding also battled severe nerves during her practise run and broke down in tears as she struggled to master her routine.
The night's most impressive performances came from BAFTA-winning CBBC actor Bobby Lockwood and ex-EastEnders castmember John Partridge.
Bobby started off rehearsals badly, having to be pulled aside by his coach after an angry outburst during a practice session for his basketball-themed rhythmic ball routine.
However, the 21-year-old wowed the judges with his slick moves to 5ive's Everybody Get Up, and scored 32 out of 40 - the highest score of the night and of the season so far.

John, a professional West End performer, wasn't far behind, and picked up an impressive 30 for his club-throwing extravaganza to The Clash's Stay or Go.
A nervous John looked surprised by his success, explaining: 'When I get nervous, my palms get sweaty - not the best thing when you're trying to catch clubs.'

The Saturdays performed a medley of their greatest hits towards the end of the programme, and singer Frankie Sandford admitted she can't wait to challenge herself on the new season of Strictly Come Dancing.
She said: 'I can't wait, I'm so excited. We've [The Saturdays] got a tour and then I start Strictly, so it's going to be really busy.'
