Accident: Singer Sean Kingston is in critical conditional after a jet ski accident in Miami
Singer and songwriter Sean Kingston is in critical conditional after a shocking jet skiing accident tonight.
The 21-year-old was rushed to a Miami Beach after he struck a major bridge connecting Palm Island with the MacArthur Causeway.
He is currently being treated in a trauma ward, due to the nature of his severe injuries.
The singer, who had success with the reggae styled pop song Beautiful Girls, reportedly also had a woman on board with him, according to TMZ.
Following the crash, the pair were rescued by a passer-by and immediately take to the Jackson Memorial Hospital by the Miami Fire Department. .
Shortly after the incident his representative released a statement.
'Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes,' it said.
Officials investigating the incident have ruled out alcohol playing any part in the accident.
The Jamaican/American singer had huge success with songs such as his 2007 hit Beautiful Girls, and currently with the single Letting Go (Dutty Love) with rapper Nicki Minaj.

Rihanna led the celebrity tributes to Sean on Twitter
'My love & prayers are with Sean Kingston & his family,' she wrote on her Twitter page immediately upon hearing the news.
Kingston also co-wrote Jason Derülo's 'Whatcha Say' and recorded the track 'Miss Everything' for the Sugababes's studio album Sweet 7, released last March.

Dave Berry proposed to Sugababes star Heidi Range on New Year's Eve 2009 while on holiday in India - but they still haven't tied th knot.
Heidi, 28, and95.8 Capital FM DJ Dave, 32, have been together for 7 years and, despite the delayed ceremony, he calls her his 'missus'.
'We don't know [when we're getting married] yet,' Dave tells us.
'We're trying to sort it out. We've had a few dates come and go and we're a bit useless.'
Dave loves living with Heidi but also enjoys having his own space.
'She's amazing. She makes the house smell nice with all her lotions and potions,' he explains.
'But it's good having time apart, too - nothing adds longevity to a relationship like a European tour, that's what I always say.'

Norwood - Ricky talks about Fatboy's future
The 'EastEnders' couple are due to marry next week, with Mercy unaware of her best friend's true feelings towards her, believing that he is only marrying her to prevent her from being deported.
In an interview with Soaplife, Norwood said: "There's just a lot of awkwardness between them.
"They're both living at Grace's, Fatboy is sleeping on the sofa and it's all a bit uncomfortable."
Discussing Mercy's feelings on the day of their wedding, he explained that she is still "unsure" about the plan - while Fatboy forgets the trouble he could be in if they are discovered.
He added: "No, he hasn't thought about the consequences at all.
"He thought it would be as simple as getting a ring on her finger, but it's not. Immigration don't go away."
However, with Bunmi Mojekwu leaving the soap, Norwood said of his character: "It means he's going to get his heart broken. But maybe there will be another special lady who will love Fatboy for who he is.
"My girlfriend (Jade Ewen) watches the show and keeps saying, 'Mercy should love him!'"

It won't be tonight's show but will be one of next week's shows and I will post when the actual date in confirmed! This must mean we should hear a studio verison of Freedom next week! Rumour Sugababes are working with Take Thats Artistic Director

It is rumoured that The Sugababes are working with either Es Devlin or Kim Gavin who have both been working with Take That on their "Progress" tour. Es is an Award Winning International Stage and Costume Designer
Es has just been awarded TPi Set Designer of the Year Award 2011.
Es will be designing the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games - the show takes place on 12th August 2012.
The new Take That tour - Progress - will begin in June 2011 - with Robbie Williams. It will tour UK and European stadia throughout the summer including 8 nights at Wembley Stadium.
Whereas Kim Gavin is widely recognised as one of the UK's leading Creative Directors and Choreographers. From one-off TV specials to record breaking Stadium shows, Kim has been the creative vision behind some of the most innovative and inspirational performances in the world of music and live events over the last 17 years

Amelle at JLS Premier Eyes Wide Open 3D at the Soho Hotel

JB Gill went for a classic look in a tuxedo, Oritsé Williams went more casual in an open-necked shirt and gold tie, while Aston Merrygold went for his trademark 'meavage' style in an unbuttoned shirt under his suit.
Marvin Humes, whore wore a dapper suit and skinny tie, was joined by girlfriend Rochelle Wiseman.
The Saturdays singer wore a mint green Herve Leger bandage dress, with matching nail varnish and eye shadow.
A host of pop stars including the One Direction boys, Diana Vickers and Amelle Berrabah all attended the event to watch a preview of the JLS concert film.
The movie was filmed during the band's recent O2 arena concert in London and the 3D production is set to be screened in cinemas nationwide for one day only on June 3.
The feature length film will feature JLS performing all of their hits, including Eyes Wide Shut, The Club Is Alive, Love You More and Everybody In Love.
It will also feature never-before-seen interviews and backstage footage of Marvin, JB, Oritsé and Aston.
