Act your age, Liz! Hurley hangs out with the Sugababes in Monte Carlo

She’s known as a glamour puss both on the screen and off, but Liz Hurley seemed just wide of the mark when she appeared at a charity fashion show in Monaco today.
The 44-year-old actress seemed to want to ingratiate herself with the members of the girl band Sugababes at the Amber Lounge event at the Beach Plaza Hotel.
And while her dress was sufficiently short, she looked just a little too old to be hanging around with the youthful pop trio.

The actress appeared to be examining her nails during the event, prompting a puzzled glance from Amelle Berrabah
She appeared to have rather more make-up on than Heidi Range, 26, Amelle Berrabah, 25 and youngest member Jade Ewen, who at 22, and seemed slightly unhappy with the state of her nails.
She wore a purple halter neck dress with open toed stilettos, accessorised with dangly silver earrings and an intriguing snake necklace.

The stars were at the show ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix qualifying rounds today and raised a total of €520,000 for AIDS projects in Cambodia.
While the Sugababes were pictured clapping and enjoying themselves, Hurley seemed subdued in comparison and even appeared to examine her nails at one stage – prompting astonished glances from the girl band.

The mother-of-one and her husband Indian tycoon Arun Nayer rubbed shoulders with other stars including Rod Stewart’s ex wife Rachel Hunter and former tennis champion Boris Becker at the event, which also saw the Sugababes perform a song.
The British Formula One former world champion Lewis Hamilton and up-and-coming racer Nico Rosberg also put in very dapper appearances.
