She's known for her fresh-faced beauty and laidback glamour.

However, former 90210 star Jessica Lowndes channelled her inner vamp for a very striking look on the red carpet on Thursday night.

The Canadian beauty, 24, went for Gothic-style make-up of dark purple lips and long lashes and a lace LBD as she arrived at the Cumberland Hotel.

The actress was the main attraction at the party as she was the face of Lipsy's new fragrance Glam.

Despite her big role, Jessica's boyfriend, former rugby player Thom Evans was nowhere to be seen.

The couple haven't been spotted together since July, with Thom attending the V Festival in Essex two weeks ago without her.

However, Thursday event was predominately a female guest list with stars from The Only Way Is Essex and Made In Chelsea in attendance.

TOWIE star Jasmin Walia showed off her figure in a dark blue, bejewelled bodycon dress and peep-tope heels.

She attended alongside Made In Chelsea star Ashley James, who looked playful in a pink Lipsy heart-print dress and black pumps.

Also in attendance was former MiC star Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack, who briefly dated Richard Dinan in the show.

Representing the pop world was Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabh, who wore a blue lace sequinned Lipsy bodycon number and orange heels.

Former Strictly professional Camilla Dallerup kept it simple in a LBD, while TV presenter Lizzie Cundy wore a stunning baroque print green Lipsy number.

Heidi Range shows off washboard abs in a skimpy Princess Leia costume as she toasts her 30th birthday with an 80s-inspired fancy dress party

She was celebrating her 30th birthday with a star-studded 80s-themed fancy dress party.

And Heidi Range ensured she was well and truly the centre of attention as she showed off her incredible washboard abs in a skimpy Princess Leia costume. 

Joining a whole host of her celebrity pals at London's Soho Sanctum Hotel, the former Sugababes singer looked the absolute belle of the ball as she flashed her toned and tanned midriff in a tiny khaki and gold bra top.

Grinning from ear-to-ear as she sipped on a glass of bubbly, the Liverpudlian beauty certainly had plenty to smile about when it came to her choice of outfit, and was no doubt the envy of most of the female attendees at the bash. 

In addition to her tiny top, Heidi wore a flowing burgundy skirt with gold detailing and had her long blonde locks swept up into an intricate plaited style, which would have even out the real Princess Leia to shame in her Star Wars days. 

And the singer certainly seemed to have a whale of a time, partying up a storm until the sun came up.

Writing on her Twitter page in the early hours, she said: 'It's getting light, the birds are tweeting, had the best time at my party tonight. Good night or good morning tweeties x'

Heidi was joined by a plethora of showbiz chums as she celebrated her landmark birthday, with her former bandmate Jade Ewen making a special effort as Hilary from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. 

The singer looked great in an 80s-inspired red short suit as she posed with a male pal, dressed as Prince, outside the venue.

Posting a selfie of the pair on her Twitter page, Jade said: '80's babies!!! #HilaryBanks #Prince.'

TV preseneter Kate Thornton looked hilarious as she arrived at the party dressed as a giant Rubik's cube, with a big purple ribbon in her hair for added affect.

Actress Tamzin Outhwaite showed off her comical side in an oversized Superman outfit, complete with bulging muscles and aviator sunglasses.

Former All Saints singer Nicole Appleton channelled her rock chick side in a vampy leather outfit and vibrant ginger wig, while Heidi;s sister dressed up as Wonderwoman. 

90210 actress Jessica Lowndes shunned the fancy dress theme, instead opting for a chic and sophisticated LBD as she posed alongside her former rugby player beau Thom Evans. 

Also avoiding the 80s-style was Ant McPartlin, who dressed casually, while his wife Lisa turned heads in a dazzling flouro combo. 

Heidi is celebrating her 30th birthday this weekend before reaching the landmark age next Thursday.

She's only been in the country for two minutes, but Jessica Lowndes is already stealing the limelight from her British counterparts.

The Canadian actress arrived to the F&F fashion show at Somerset House with boyfriend Thom Evans in a bodycon minidress that showed off her perfect figure.

Sticking to the black and white theme of the night, the couple were perfectly co-ordinated, while Denise Van Outen presented a more masculine look for the fashionable gathering.

Jessica, 24, paired her black and white dress with platform pumps, a silver clutchbag and a matching manicure.

The 90210 star has been raving about her time in England, tweeting earlier in the day about extending her stay: 'I'm in London for one more week! I love everything about this city (even the rain) x (sic)'.

Thom, 28, chose a black suit with white lapels and a black shirt for his suave evening look on the front row.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant didn't let the masculinity of the look take over though, as her trademark platinum blonde locks were tousled into sexy curls.

And for added girlishness Denise painted her nails and lips pink.

JB Gill and his girlfriend Chloe Tangney both wore black to the fashion event, and of course the 26-year old JLS star had on a pair of braces.

One celebrity guest with a vested interest in the show was Lauren Pope.

The TOWIE star has her own hair extension brand, and her products were used to lengthen the hair of each female model on the catwalk.

Tweeting from the side of the runway, Lauren, 29, said: 'Loving the models hair at the F&F show styled by @aaroncarlohair all wearing my @HairRehabLondon ext's!!'
