 IT will be déjà vu in the popcharts this autumn when the original Sugababes and Girls Aloud go head-to-head once more.

Both camps are almost ready to unleash new material on the world and I’m told they are both pretty damned good.

The Sugas could have a single out as early as October, followed by GA, who look likely to kick-start their campaign in November with the Children In Need track.

With both albums hopefully released in time for their fans’ Christmas stockings, it will be interesting to see who sells the
