Dancing On Ice About Heidi Range & Andrei Lipanov

Special Skills:Sugababe sweetness and a dazzling smile

Sugababes singer Heidi Range is very nervous about her first ice appearance on Dancing On Ice, despite having performed at some of the UK’s biggest music venues.
“I'd love to get to the stage where I’m performing and enjoy it, rather than just feeling nervous,” she says. “My friends and family are so excited. I've got a list of people asking if they can come and watch! Even when I'm training my friends keep coming to watch us and they want to make banners and t-shirts.”
And with everyone watching, Heidi wants to make sure she looks her best. “I’m still going to the gym. After my first costume fitting I thought, 'You're in Lycra on HD TV!’
"Since training for Dancing On Ice I have noticed my body changing shape slightly. My legs and my bottom seem more toned which is good!”

Due to her original partner Sylvain Longchambon's recent injury, Heidi will now skate with the fabulous Andrei Lipanov - a pro ice fans will recognise from previous series when he partnered Clare Buckfield, Natalie Pinkham, Gemma Bissix and Sinitta.
Russian International Andrei began skating solo at the tender age of five. When he was 15 he became a competitive pairs skater and went on to win the Russian Junior Games in 1993.
Having competed as a member of the Russian National Team, Andrei turned professional and became a principal in the Russian Ice Stars in 1996, before joining Britain's renowned Hot Ice show and meeting wife Susie the following year.
The pair toured extensively with acclaimed International ice shows, and are now regular favourites on Dancing On Ice - as well as full time coaches and busy parents.

  1. Great idea a Liverpool Gym would also better, but I love to sew. You have a simple plain Liverpool Gym, they right just put some designs to look more attractive.
    Thanks for sharing with us.
