Suga and a bit more spice
THE Sugababes are back and ready to sex up the charts.
The pop outfit's new single Freedom hits the shops next month. And the girls - Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen - admit their forthcoming assault on the charts comes with a more adventurous wardrobe.
Heidi, who celebrates an impressive 10 years in the band this month, said: "Our outfits are getting sexier and more revealing as we get older.
"We're more comfortable in our own skin as the years go by.
"In the past we might of declined what our stylist put in front of us. But today we'll say yes as we're more willing try new things."
Amelle, 27, continued: "It's fun to experiment. Lady GaGa was had an effect on everyone. It's now about fashion almost as much as the music.
"We'll wear leather and spandex. We like getting doing sexy photo shoots and are willing to maybe take new risks
"We're doing G-A-Y soon and those outfits will be incredible."
New girl Jade admits she loves to be push the boundaries with style: "We all have our own individual style but we'll try most things."
The Sugababes started out in 1998 with founding members Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan.
Heidi's astonishing stint in the band begun three years later when she replaced Siobhán in August 2001.
Stunning Amelle followed in December 2005 when Mutya left after a series of squabbles.
Jade, 23, then stepped in for Keisha in December 2009 due to further rows.

"I'm still standing," Heidi, 28, quipped. "It's been a long time, I can't quite believe it.
"The music world has changed a lot since I started out. We've had a pop heavy scene, then indie and rock. Now grime's so popular.
"I believe we've been able to survive because we've also been willing to change our style. We've not stuck with one formula which has been good."
Despite vamping up their style for band commitments, Heidi admits she loves nothing better than snuggling up to fiancé Dave Berry in her PJ's. "I love to get a cup of tea and watch Come Dine With Me. I know it's not very rock and roll but I love it.
"It's definitely my guilty pleasure."
Freedom is out on September 25.
The band's as-yet-untitled eighth album will follow at the end of the year.
