Inspired, maybe, by her 2007 hit 'Change,' the scouser opted for hair rollers and a sea of hairspray as she dropped into the trendy Zoo Hair salon, with mum Karen.

The 27-year-old singer decided on a hairdo makeover, before emerging with a new light brunette look - a drastic difference from her usual peroxide blonde.

Dressed in an autumnal floral dress, casual jeans, black suede belted jacket and platform heels, the pop princess treated her mum to a quick visit to Thai restaurant, Yee Rah bar and grill.

Heidi, is expected to wed radio TV presenter Dave Berry later this year, looked thrilled with her newly adopted coiffered barnet, as she shopped round Liverpool One for some retail therapy.

One onlooker siad; 'It was hard to recognise her at first, she looks totally different than she does on stage."

"And the new brunette look really suites her. It works for me. She's a good looking Babe in my book."
