Kate Nash joined onstage by The Cribs Ryan Jarman at V Festival Kate Nash Tickets

Plus Sugababes and Professor Green also play Stafford leg of bash

Kate Nash was joined onstage by her boyfriend Ryan Jarman of The Cribs at her V Festival performance today (August 21).

Nash, who was playing the Stafford leg of the festival introduced Jarman onstage for her final song, 'I Just Love You More'. He played guitar for the entire track, though didn't speak to the audience.

Elsewhere in her Nissan Juke Arena set, which included the likes of 'Foundations' and 'Do-Wah-Doo', Nash made a plea for females in the audience to become songwriters.

"Statistically there are more female songwriters than male," Nash said. "So if you're a girl and you're thinking about writing songs, just pick up a fucking pen and do it. And if you do, come and find me."

Meanwhile, Weston Park also saw performances from Sugababes and Professor Green today. The former covered Florence And The Machine's 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' during their performance at the Nissan Juke Arena, and also aired tracks including 'Round Round' and 'Push The Button'.

Professor Green, playing on the 4 Music Stage, showcased tracks from his debut album 'Alive Till I'm Dead', though the Londoner took the opportunity to salute the crowd for giving him a positive reaction towards the end of his set. "Stafford, you've being very kind to me, and I feel like I'm a long way from home," he said, before playing 'Upper Clapton Dance'.
