Food photographer Patrice de Villiers shoots some of Britain's best-known musicians with their favourite dishes for Love Music, Love Food, a project in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust

Love Music, Love Food celebrates Teenage Cancer Trust's 10th birthday shows art the Royal Albert Hall with an exhibition from 22 March to 19 April. Open days for the public are on 3 April (10am – 2pm), 11 April (11am – 3pm) and 18 April (11am – 3pm). Planned limited edition and coffee-table books will raise funds for the charity's work in helping young people fight cancer.

British Olympic Ball, Presented by BT, Confirms Star Performers

Mark Ronson, Jamie Cullum and the Sugababes unveiled as headline acts for star studded event

Three of Great Britain’s highest profile music acts have been unveiled by the British Olympic Association (BOA) as the headline performers at the prestigious British Olympic Ball, presented by BT, on Friday 24th September.

Leading DJ and performer Mark Ronson along with renowned jazz-pop singer-songwriter Jamie Cullum and the Sugababes, one of the most successful female acts of the 21st century, will headline the evening’s entertainment, which takes place in the stunning surroundings of The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Internationally renowned magician Dynamo, who has performed for the likes of Will Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, Snoop Dogg, Robbie Williams and Naomi Campbell, will also be performing live on stage at the event, as will entertainment sensation DJ Lora.

The evening’s entertainment will also see high profile nightclub, Chinawhite, run the exclusive after party for all attending guests.

The event is a celebration of the Best of British in Olympic sport, and serves as a critical fundraiser for the British Olympic Association to support our nation’s current and future Olympic athletes. A collection of Team GB’s brightest Olympic talent will be in attendance, including legends such as five-time Olympic Champion Steve Redgrave, and athletes who will be going for gold for the first time in London 2012, such as World and European Heptathlon Champion Jessica Ennis.

Planning for this unique occasion is being led by Committee Chairman and BOA Director of Sport Sir Clive Woodward, as well as Athlete Co-Chairs; sailing triple gold medallist Ben Ainslie CBE and former BBC Sports Personality of the Year award winner Zara Phillips MBE.

Tickets for the flagship Olympic fundraising event are on sale and there are limited places that remain available for what is set to be a fantastic evening of entertainment. All attending guests will enjoy a champagne reception and four-course dinner before being treated to gold medal standard music and entertainment.

The Halo: Reach launch party guestlist has been revealed.
Among the celebrities are Rio Ferdinand, Jason Bradbury, Jameela Jamil, Ben Cohen and Mr Hudson - a group better known as the Elite Spartan Squad. But there are many more well-known faces besides: pop stars Pixie Lott and Amelle Berrabah from Sugababes, for example.
Boxer Joe Calzaghe is going, as is tennis player Andy Murray and smiley hurdles champion Colin Jackson. Other sporty types include retired footballer Lee Sharpe, Rugby player Dominic Waldouck, sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and 400m hurdler Perry Shakes-Drayton.
Most of Hollyoaks seems to be on the list: Matt Littler (Max), Darren Jeffries (O.B.), Chris Grierson, Louis Tamone, Ricky Whittle, Jamie Lomas and Warren Brown. And they'll be joined by fellow actors Lucien Laviscount (Coronation Street) and Prey Kailas (East Enders).
TV presenters Charlie Webster (Channel Bee), Dr Christian Jessen (Supersize vs. Superskinny) and Gizzi Erksine (Cook Yourself Thin) are all down to attend.
MOBO-nominated rapper Kano might pop in, as might boy band Boy Banned and indie rockers One Night Only.
Big Brother 11's JJ and Big Brother 5's Brian Belo are somewhere around the bottom of the list, joined by "Page 3 girls" and male models Luke Worrall (boyfriend of Kelly Osbourne) and Alex Watson (brother of Harry Potter star Emma).
The Halo: Reach launch event takes place tonight at London's Victoria House in Bloomsbury.
Halo: Reach will be released next Tuesday, 14th September.

X factor runners up JLS got dressed up for the GQ Men of the Year Awards – and so did we!

Very’s Zoe attended the star-studded bash at London’s Royal Opera House (along with Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah)

So she grabbed them for a chat (and a photo) to find out how their lives had changed since appearing on the show in 2008.

Do they enjoy their fame? What do they really think of their female fans? Are they watching the ITV show this year?

QS: What’s the coolest thing that has happened since X Factor?

JB: “That’s a hard question. Everything has been amazing! We’re so lucky to get the support from fans that we have. We don’t take anything for granted.”

ORITISE: “We just got back from America and nobody knew us out there, so it made us appreciate what we have here.”

MARVIN: “The best thing for me is meeting my girlfriend. I’d never have got with a Saturday if I wasn’t in this band.”

QS: Tell us about America – what are your plans out there?

ASTON: “We want to crack America, basically! We’re playing in-stores and gigs and trying to get some TV so everyone starts to know us.”

ORITISE: “America is a tough market. Leona did it well out there but it’s difficult for British stars to get taken seriously out there. We’ll do it though!”

QS: Do you ever get frightened by the level of fame you’ve achieved?

ASTON: “Not really, I feel blessed.”

MARVIN: “It was pretty scary when they found a fan hidden in a suitcase though. Fair play to her, that’s dedication, but still scary.”

QS: Do you have any predictions for this year’s show?

JB: “We normally tend to go with what Louis Walsh goes for.

ORITISE AND ASTON: “We LOVE Louis.”

QS: You’re very into fashion yourselves, but what do you like women to wear?

JB: “I think as long as a woman has made an effort, then you know. It doesn’t matter exactly what she has wearing but you can just tell if a girl has made an effort. Get dressed up, girls!”

ORITISE: “Ruffles look pretty nice – Amelle [Sugababes] is wearing them, you’re wearing them.”

The gorgeous Sugababe, who’s now been in the band for five years, had an early-ish night as she told me she was getting up early for filming.

‘It’s something you’ll be able to see in October, November time. I’ll give you a clue, it’s not music,” Amelle hinted to me.
